High Treason  (first draft screenplay available)

Feature length film, based on unpublished novel The Junior Counsel, optioned for production in USA 1996.  Option has lapsed.

Genre:  Courtroom drama. 

True story, set in the time of Australia’s Gold Rush, 1855.  An inexperienced English Barrister defends an African-American accused of treason during the Eureka Stockade uprising.
